The beginning signs of Autumn here in Northern Virginia has pulsated sounds within me to keep a watchful eye on the simplicity in my eye gate to understand the profound. My thought, “Simplicity is Profound.”
What do you see
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” Psalms 147:3-5 NIV
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skillful of them.” Jeremiah 9:17
Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers(17) Mourning women . . . cunning women.–Eastern funerals were, and are, attended by mourners, chiefly women, hired for the purpose. Wailing was reduced to an art, and they who practised it were cunning. There are the “mourners” that “go about the streets” (Ecclesiastes 12:5), those that “are skilful of lamentation” (Amos 5:16), those that mourned for Jehoiakim (Jeremiah 22:18), those that “wept and wailed greatly” in the house of Jairus (Mark 5:38). They are summoned as to the funeral, not of a friend or neighbour, but of the nation.
“but, of the nation.” I hope to meditate and think about this.” What do you think about this scripture?
“David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the Lord answered his prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.” 2 Samuel 24:25 NIV
“The plague on Israel was stopped.” Oh that we could build an altar of prayer by joining our voices in unison to God, our Heavenly Father with faith and hope this pandemic of Covid-19 in all its forms be stopped in the earth.
I often wonder if God is so heartbroken over the division of humans that He is in heaven doing what He has done before? Is He weeping over us because we are divided.
“Many plans are in a person’s mind, but the Lord’s purpose will succeed.”—Proverbs 19:21 (CEB)
A lot to unpack in this short sentence. The first glimpse of this shirt I think I will wear today, choices matter, and seems to be the art pattern. Aweee color always my favorite to ponder on, choice? Maybe a deep rose on sheer fabric where the ‘Grace of God’ springs into action to encourage. Why yes I saw the full pattern of your thought and I knew just where to cut the fabric for the perfect match in your seams.
The pattern is a mixture of modern art showing hope to be while I glimpse into a heart of choices I made yesterday that might reflect some longing thoughts I’m having today.
🎼Like the woman at the well I was seeking for things that could not satisfy But then I heard the Savior calling Draw from this well that shall never run dry
Fill my cup, Lord; I lift it up, Lord Come and quench this thirsting of my soul Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole
There are millions in this world who are craving The pleasures earthly things afford But none can match the wondrous treasure That I find in Jesus Christ, my Lord
Fill my cup, Lord; I lift it up, Lord Come and quench this thirsting of my soul Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more Fill my cup, fill it up and make me wholeFill my cup, fill it up and make me whole

A Christian young lady sent me this banner (Healing is ours my words) today saying she is struggling with tongue issues. She was wondering about cause. Could a bitter heart cause one to say things they didn’t think about before a deluge of spite became her photo I wondered?
“Make sure that no one misses out on God’s wonderful kindness. Don’t let anyone become bitter and cause trouble for the rest of you.” (Hebrews 12:15) Pastor John Piper wrote on this issue, “…the book of Hebrews deals with repeatedly — professing Christians who think they are secure because of some past spiritual experience or some present association with Christian people. The aim of Hebrews is to cure Christians of presumption, and to cultivate earnest perseverance in faith and holiness. At least four times it warns that we must not neglect our great salvation but be vigilant to fight the fight of faith every day lest we become hardened and fall away and prove that we had no share in Christ (Hebrews 2:3; 3:12–14; 6:4–7; 10:23–29).
It’s summer time and maybe vacation time for some. As I pack my daily leisure bag I’m wondering what tools have I packed to travel with? Do I have angry, grudges plus size? Have I packed poisonous and foul deodorant left in bag from years passed? Deuteronomy 29:18 gave me this thought and check? Flowers are beautifully blooming, birds of various colors and sizes birthing and singing and showing their beauty. Butterflies and bees galore dancing and fluttering about. All saying to me the Creator of all has splendid healing for YOU and YOU!
I planted some bulbs and look what is blooming now!😱💕 Tammy Holton

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined” (Luke 5:37, NIV)
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”
Heavenly Father, grant us wisdom to discern the seasons of our lives and teach us to embrace the new things You have for each of us.
