Legend of the Dogwood
The season of Spring is upon us and the dogwood blossoms have unfolded in all their glorious beauty. I remember a poem/legend that my Mother used to tell us about the dogwood. The legend may be untrue, but like the sand dollar upon the beaches I believe God placed signs in nature so that we would not forget what his son did for us on the cross. The legend/poem is as follows:
