My family and I took my son out to eat for his Birthday. I wore my new mix red/pink scarf MG just gave me. The colors are dynamo on me! Then we hopped over to the mall to look for some dress shoes for me @Nordstroms. They sure had some fiery looking shoes. I looked and I thought, hum, not for my feet. The price made me chill for a few straps and no comfort at all. As we all know by now I want my dress shoes to be work shoes. I thought as I toured the shoe department, this is like looking at me 30 years ago. π Now, its seems, I want to hear, how beautiful are the feet of those that carry the message of Christ.
Etiquette of Laughter
Laughter? Let’s talk about the “Etiquette of laughter.” Is there such a thing as etiquette when it comes to laughter? Do we need a written prescription to take to the pharmacy to get our laugher? Do we need insurance to pay for laughter? Maybe Laughter should be written in the new health care bill?
Norman Cousins wrote in his book, Anatomy of an Illness, βWhen you laugh, endorphins, the bodyβs natural pain-killers, are released.β
The Word of God records the words of a wise man, “A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 15:13, 15

A Blessings from a student
Dear Ms. Henry and Ms. Murray,
It feels as if it were only yesterday that I was in your music class as a third grader at Bonnie Brae playing the recorder! Now, ten years later, after the hundreds of students that have passed through your classrooms, I can only hope that you both can remember me. My name is Karen Cueva and I am a violinist who is currently in my freshman year of college at The Juilliard School. Although many years have passed, the countless memories I hold from your classes are quite vivid for me: from listening to Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition on a TV, to performing Bonnie Brae’s famous “Reindeer Rap” for parents, to being Rev. Squeak in a third grade production of Huckleberry Finn, I say without reservation that many of my happiest moments from Bonnie Brae were from your tutelage.
