May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. All praise to God, the Father ofContinue reading “Christ, in heaven and on earth. —Ephesians 1:10 “

Hornets of the Bible
This Hornets nest hung just a little to close over the sidewalk where children and walkers alike might be making their trek for opening of a new school year. My husband and I thought to empty the nest and make a gift for our Grand child’s P-k classroom. I can just imagine little eyes peekingContinue reading “Hornets of the Bible”
The Light of all People
All things came into being through him, [Jesus]and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. (Like 12:27) Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them. (Like 12:24) The sounds, sights andContinue reading “Our Bird Nest”
A path to peace
Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3, NRSV
“Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth!”
“Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! You let your glory be seen in the heavens above. With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress. It makes your enemies silent, and all who turn against you are left speechless. I often think of the heavens yourContinue reading ““Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth!””

The Darker the Night the Brighter the Light
In Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus states: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine beforeContinue reading “The Darker the Night the Brighter the Light”
