Do you believe in angels?

Do you believe in angels? I do!

Angels are everywhere all the time, 24/7. Abraham believed in angels, three came to visit him as house guest. Jacob sure believed in angels, he wrested with one all night long. He was touched by an angel. The angel gave Jacob a heavy blow on the thigh and he limped forever after that.
Daniel while having an overnight stay with the lions trembled when he saw the Lord’s angel appear with him. John, on the Isle of Patmos had such a dramatic experience seeing an angel, that he fell down as though he were dead.

The Art of Simplicity

The Art of Simplicity can turn one’s life around for the greater gain.
Peace for ‘turmoil of lack’
Joy for a ‘scattered mind
Love for ‘confused and afraid’
Hope for ‘sad’
Light for ‘darkness’
I have for ‘I have not’
Courage for ‘fear’
‘Simplicity of Life’ to me is like black-strap molasses flavoring and coloring my cookies of choice.

When I went to my grandmother’s house in Oklahoma at the age of three, she would have me hold her hands between my small hands and pray before she would eat her meals. Without my prayer, she would not eat. At the time she was dying of cancer.

Praying Pretzels

Have any of you made these? Thought it might be good idea with the football playoffs and Super Bowl XLII coming up? Also ,a great idea for snacks for our church gatherings . Children as well as adults love them.

Pretzels were first made by monks who gave them as rewards to children who had learned their prayers. The special twisted shape looks like the folded arms of a child praying. The word pretzel means reward.
