I can’t help but think about the ones who are in need. My son, Noah, asked me to share a story of a child who made a difference. Jane Adams was from Cedarville, Illinois. When she was six years old, her father took her on a trip. She saw many poor people. This touched her heart. She told her Father that when she grew up, she would have a huge house in the middle of many poor homes, so she could help these people in need. Chicago, Illinois was also called “a city with a million strangers”. In 1889 Charles Hull, a wealthy business owner fell on hard times. Jane Adams bought her large home and started the Hull-House. She opened the house up to help working women with their children. She also opened her home up to elderly, lonely people who were unable to work. She provided food and shelter for many. She had lots of volunteers eager to lend a helping hand. The Hull House offered classes to help educate the poor. Stubbornness is not a gift given to us from God.
Dictionary: “If you’re the kind of person who takes a stand and then refuses to back down, your friends might say you have a stubborn disposition, a word that implies an innate resistance to any attempt to change one’s purpose, course, or opinion. People who are stubborn by nature exhibit this kind of behavior in most situations,”
Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace:
“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6 AMP)
Do you have need of a Wonderful Counselor? Would you like an Everlasting Father to consult with? Would you like to be the best friend of the Prince of Peace? Seek wisdom just as the magi did from the Savior of the world. Connect and stayed connected to godly people and seek their counsel with an open heart. Be obedient to the Mighty God and watch
miraculous things happen in your life.
The receiving of a beautiful, desired necklace and an article by Mary Cothers, led by the Holy Spirit, inspired these metaphoric thought.
What is Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ like? I will tell you what it is like to me. It is like a lovely pendant, hung about the neck, the Centerpiece rot eh Cornerstone’s being Christ Jesus, with all the lovely diamonds encircling. “My child, hear the instructions of the Word of God and obey, for they are a garland about your shoulders and chains and pendants of gold and glory like the kings wear, about your neck” (Proverbs)

This sign was made by Tammy’s team and placed in their office in the Washington DC area as they work together with team spirit in writing and sending cards to our soldiers.
CCI, and Rena’s fourth grade classroom made cards and wrote messages and have mailed to our soldiers. Also, Needles and Chickenfarmer, and their children are sending cards to our soldiers. I am once again listing the addresses of the ones we are sending cards to. It is not too late to participate in this project as we thank, encourage and pray for our soldiers.

You give (us) drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.
Psalm 36:8,9 (NIV)

Jesus Christ is a gift to the World! He has given great things to the world and we have the potential to fill our hearts with Joy warmth from His stocking. (Psalm 121:3)
He has given us gifts of sparkling wine that bubbles with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness when poured into our heart goblet. (Galatians. 5:22)
Our mailboxes are stuffed with gifts from The Giver of Life. He has given each of us gifts and talents with instructions to not neglect our gift(s). (I Timothy 4:14) He knows our zip code and we should know, understand and develop our strength zones.
