Good morning, look at what is sitting right outside the window at my house. “I have a bird’s eye view “ I hope to be able to have that “view” as the eggs hatch and fly away. I hope to capture a picture of the mom sitting on them.🥰 I think the nest these birds make are amazing.@tholton
Fresh flowers in my kitchen window always causes me to sing a new song! 🎼 How do you like my new translucent bud vase? Chris, my son, made it for me with his 3D printer. I used water pics to keep the flowers fresh! 💗
What song comes to your mind when you see fresh flowers after a long cold winter? What potential do you see in another when reality says slim!
I like this song…..
“In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree, In cocoons, a hidden promise: butterflies will soon be free! In the cold and snow of winter there’s a spring that wants to be, Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
There’s a song in every silence, seeking word and melody; There’s a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me. From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery, Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity; In our doubt there is believing; in our life, eternity, In our death, a resurrection; at the last, a victory, Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.”
I found beautiful Stella, a cardinal, sitting motionless and stayed as still as a rock sitting in my side garden. I spoke to her with no response. I named her, Stella. I inquired of her for what she might need. She moved her eyes and allowed me to come near.
I waited by her side as I knew there were larger birds that could possibly harm her. I thought I don’t know enough about birds to distinguish male from female. So, I went on calling her Stella.
After a time I heard friendly chirps all around us and I looked and other cardinals were calling her name. She regained her strength and took flight with those of her kind.
The Redeemed of the Lord God will be called by name and take a safe flight when the time is right. Do Not fear! Stella did not fear but waited to hear! What a lesson Stella taught me on my early morning walk.
Matthew 6;25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew (6:9-13) and Luke (11:2-4)
“If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.” James 1:5 NRSV https://www.bible.com/2016/jas.1.5.nrsv
Do you believe Angels are near? Do you even believe there are Angels? Do you ever feel or think when reading God’s promises in His word that they are so magnificent they are not real but fantasy? What about this one written by most likely Moses? It’s believed Psalm 91 was composed by some Moses on the day he completed the building of the Tabernacle in the desert. The verses describe Moses’ own experience entering the Tabernacle and being enveloped by the Divine cloud. “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot. Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation.” Psalms 91:11-16 NRSV https://www.bible.com/2016/psa.91.11-16.nrsv
