Joel Osteen and his family came to the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on September 5, ’08. What an uplifting event. The bill of fare lived up to its name, “A Night of Hope”. Everything was inspiring and truly Joel Osteen is anointed for this message. He said that most people today are into detoxifying their bodies but what they need even more is a detoxifying of minds. We need to go on a diet and stay diligent to it and not allow negative things to infiltrate us. We need to unload the negatives, find and up root the cause whether a teacher or counselor speaking negative things into our life, or whether anyone else spoke it – ask forgiveness or write letters of forgiveness so that you can be set free to become everything that Jesus wants you to become – what he wanted for you as a child of God from the very beginning. He said that we need to read scripture of affirmation of who we are in Christ everyday. These scriptures and like message had been given to some of us at the 3rd Annual Retreat of the Daily Lily, “The Four Bees, by Sara. The message at the retreat by Sara and the message that Joel Osteen preached were almost identical. This must be the message of the hour for God’s people.
